One week down in Borger, TX. Borger is an awesome podunk little town. I love it!! It's fixin to be a cold winter for me. They say it snows quite a bit and with the wind chill factor it gets super cold. I'm not super excited about that but what can you do. The ward here is pretty cool. It's a way tiny ward. There were about as many people at church yesterday as we were getting to the Spanish Branch in San Angelo. The members are pretty cool here though. It kinda reminded me of going to church in Parawon...everybody's wearing jeans and cowboy boots with cowboy cut suits. Man I love Texas lol We've got a few sweet investigators right now. We're working with a lot of them to quit smoking. It's really tough for a lot of people here. There's a 10 year old boy and an 8 year old girl whose parents just started coming back to church and they want to get baptized. We're working with the father to quit smoking so that he can baptize them. The bishop wants us to wait for him to quit smoking for 2 months...which I think is way too long!! Maybe 2 weeks would be reasonable but 2 months is a long time. The bishop here is a little bit different and not too many people get along with him but I'm sure it'll all work out. My comp is a little different too. We don't have too much in common but we'll work through it. I've definately got my work cut out for me here in Borger. We'll get things going though. We've got Zone Conference tomorrow so I'm pretty excited about that. Well I hope all is well back home. I love yall. Have a great week.
