How's it going y'all?? Things are good here in Pecos. Pecos is a small town of about 6000 people (well 9000 if you count the prison) in pretty much the middle of nowhere. Its pretty sweet here though!! The weathers a lot like Vegas. Its hot and dry. We have a small branch here, not too many members, its way different than back home. Pretty much all the members are related somehow, its kinda weird. My companion's name is Elder Todd Brandon, kinda weird cuz my bro's name is Brandon Todd. He's been down here in Pecos for 3 months now so he knows the area pretty well. He had a baptism waiting for me when I got here. On Saturday we baptised a brother and sister named Betty and Jesse. Its pretty sweet to come out here and see success right away. I'm not speaking as much Spanish here as I thought I would. Most of the people here are Mexican and speak Spanish but most people know how to speak English too. I've only taught once or twice in Spanish. It might take longer than I expected to learn the language...Well it looks like we're going to have some more baptisms pretty soon here. We've got some sweet investigators right now. Hopefully they'll all pull through.
